This Week! We finally begin our review of the Alex Jones Book “The Great Reset and the War for the World” a book so crazy we think we might have finally found that dragon we’ve been chasing for so long. This week we reviewed chapter 1 “What is the great reset” in which he completely fails to answer that question.
The Great reset, in Alex’s mind, appears to be just about whatever he wants to yell about in that particular moment, but like Icarus, Alex has most certainly gone too close to the sun and decided to put claims down in written form to be laughed at by the rest of us. We are excited to get this review going and hope you join us along the way!

This week we continue the lunatic fringe series about how the far right became the moderate center of conservatism with an episode about the toxic sludge that is conservative youth culture. We explore this vapid pool of nuclear waste through the lens of three different groups, the traditional college republicans of Ben Shapiro, the hype-beasts over at TPUSA, and the openly white supremacist College Republicans United. All three of these groups have contributed to the scariest lurch rightward in conservatism of the last decade, and fostered the rebirth of fascism in America in their own ways.

This week! At long last we finally come to the end of our review of Markl Levin’s book “American Marxism” in which we have—I am sad to say—Not been convinced of Mark’s premise that Biden and Nancy Pelosi are in fact Marxist infiltrators bent on destroying capitalism and turning your child trans. This final chapter is the first really in which Mark writes in his own words rather than gigantic out of context block quotes, and the end of the book leaves us thinking really that if Mark had written the entire book in this way it really could have been one of the most entertaining works of fascist propaganda we’ve read yet. Sadly, we got this crap instead.

This week, we take an official detour from the lunatic Fringe series to journey into the wild woods of grifter political candidates who make a living and a following off of hopeless campaigns for office to “take America back.” Those we are talking about today include Deanna Lorraine, a California based failure to launch who took on Nancy Pelosi, and still appears to be working on getting that redpilled dating coach business off the ground. Omar Navarro, Deanna’s ex-boyfriend who spent 2020 primary season in jail for harassing Deanna, and the crème de la crème Laura Loomer, who not only once shackled herself to Twitter HQ, she also shackled herself to a losing proposition.
These colorful figures of the right continually give it their all, but wouldn’t you know it, they just don’t have enough to give.

This week, in our penultimate episode on this book we begin the long horrible wind-down of Mark Levin’s fiction masterpiece “American Marxism” with the first half of the final chapter “We Choose Liberty,” in which Mark Levin tells his readers that they ,must ban together in “citizens committees” for the purpose of restricting the liberty of public school children to learn any unapproved information, and to attack teachers, principals, school administrators and all the other Marxists who might think schools should teach about why we needed the civil rights act or that its ok to not be straight and cisgender.
In a true tour de force, reminiscent of such triumphant finishes as those of Dinesh D’Souza and Julius Evola, in not as many words Mark concludes like so many of his forebears that the solution to all of the Marxist infiltration of America today, both the virtually nonexistent real, and the imagined which makes up the majority, is of course, fascism. SO come join us and enjoy as we laugh over the persistent right wing slide into open support of fascism that we’ve been seeing for the last 20 years with the final chapter of Mark Levin’s book.

This week we step back into the lunatic fringe for another ride down the slip and slide of fascism, taking a look at the topic we left off our first episode on fascism, Christian nationalism. On this week’s episode we discuss Christian nationalism as the most prevalent form of fascism in the US today. Make no mistake Christian Nationalism is Christian Fascism, there is no significant daylight between the two terms. If you haven’t already listened to our episode about fascism go back and check it out so you can be on the same page with us for this one.
In recent months, and certainly at an seemingly increasing pace in the last several weeks, figures of the republican party, from fringe to center have more and more openly embraced the term Christian Nationalist as a description of themselves. As this pattern continues many are worried that if the right is ever to regain power they will embrace the call to institute a theocratic state, and the best I can honestly say is that you genuinely should be worried about that.
