NYGBC: I Heard it at a Hipster Coffee Shop: Jacob Wohl’s Rise and Meteoric Fall

This week, we take a detour to talk about a figure that should have been featured on this show long before now, convicted criminal and grifter extraordinaire, Jacob Wohl and his partner in crime Jack Burkman. Between the two of them they’ve racked up numerous fake sexual assault press conferences, several felony indictments, and at the time of writing, one conviction.

Jacob Wohl made his name early on as a fake child prodigy and 17 year-old hedge fund manager until he was banned from futures trading for life. He would go on to, along with Burkman, be the preeminent propagator of fake sexual assault claims against democratic candidates throughout the 2020 election cycle. Jacob is truly one of the great clowns of our time and his continued flame-outs are a source of never-ending entertainment for we blessed few in the know.

In the current variation, Alex claims that Covid-19 is a man-made virus genetically engineered by the globalists to bring in their tyrannical one-world government, unless it isn’t in which case the globalists jumped on a real event to bring in their tyrannical one-world government.

As support for this he relies on libertarian think-tank produced open letters, opinion pieces, and outright lies about the next sentence after the ones he quotes.

NYGBC: Right Wing Wreckage - The Lost Murderous Children of the Right Wing Media System

This Week, we take a look at some examples of right wing radicalization to the point of violence, not an uncommon topic on this show, but this time we focus in on a specific form of radicalization. In particular today we talk about people who are radicalized by a hatred of the left, in the form it has taken in mainstream right wing media. People radicalized by the everyday figures of Fox News and the Trump circle of chuds. The bad actors we discuss today were radicalized in the same way your father was. Talk radio and cable TV. Far more than many other mass murderers and terrorists, today’s subjects were products of a pure form of conservative radicalization.

Today we discussed four individuals in particular. Jim Adkisson, a man who attacke the Knoxville Unitarian Universalist Church in 2008, motivated by his belief that they were “liberal foot-soldiers” trying to bring communism to America. Cesar Sayoc, the “MAGA-Bomber” who mailed pipe bombs to the Fox News list of villains. Ricky Shiffer, who believed he could carry out a war against the FBI with the help of a nail gun, and David DePape, the man who attacked Paul Pelosi in San Francisco driven by a deranged hatred of “the left” which in the eyes of the fox news brain afflicted person is epitomized by a woman the actual left hates more than they do.

This week, we break down the second half of chapter 3 of Alex Jones’ “The Great Reset” in which Alex engages in the sort of blatant misrepresentations of other people’s words that it really takes a pro to do. Alex spends the majority of this week’s section pretending to have read and understood David Rockefeller’s Memoirs and Zbigniew Brzezinski’s Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technotronic Era. Two books that have probably been read in full by about 15 people, but which of course are a cornerstone in the globalist playbook to something, something eat bugs.

We also played a fun game this week of guessing what Alex Jones’ guest Bob Chapman claims to have seen Ronald Reagan doing on video, and believe me, if it were actually a true story it would have made Reagan about 15% better than his baseline of complete and utter trash.

NYGBC: The Great Reset Chapter 3 Part 1

This week we read the first half of chapter 3 of “The Great Reset” by Alex Jones’ ghostwriter, in which Alex bores the hell out of us, but Kevin found a lady who calls herself a “Citizen Ninja” and don’t worry we talked about that for a while. This chapter covers one crazy man’s ramblings about Jimmy Carter, David Rockefeller, Zbigniew Brzeziński, and the “Trilateral Comission” otherwise known as the Council on Foreign Relations for the young hip conspiracy crowd.

 

The thrust of the chapter is that the Trilateral Comission was founded in the 70s, and has lots of members, interspersed with intentional misunderstandings and the sort of bald-faced bullshitting we could only expect from a book Alex Lies about having written.

NYGBC: The Great Reset Chapter 2

This week, we return to our book review of Alex Jones’ “The Great Reset” a book so bad it sold tens of thousands of copies to republicans and two to us. We dive in to Chapter 2 “Developing the System of Control” which could easily be summarized as a D- 6th grade book report of the scary European man’s book nobody read. Through skillfully i9ntentional misinterpretations of block quotes he forgot to remove from the final draft lest the reader realize they don't say what he claims, Alex's ghostwriter managed to craft a story of globalists… saying technology could cause problems.

Between the poorly drawn inferences from forewords to books nobody read, Alex, in this incredibly important and world-shattering book which is destined to change the world, reminds us that billionaires are out of touch, and fascism is when you republican party. The insights never end, and somehow two chapters into this book he still hasn’t bothered to explain what “The Great Reset” is, here’s hoping for chapter 3.
